Gender: Female

Location: New York, NY United States

About Me:

JG-Tiny BIO

Life Coach . Film Producer . Publisher

Jeanette Gonzalez is an award-winning Producer with over fifteen years of experience in the film & television commercial industry. She is also a Certified Personal & Life Coach. Most recently, Jeanette has added Publisher & Editor to her repertoire. She is pleased to announce the first book to be edited by her, and published by her company, JG Productions: You Know What To Do, written by Arnie M. Gonzalez.

Coach. Filmmaker. Publisher. In each of these arenas, Jeanette offers her creativity, a keen intuition and high level communication skills. While her work may seem diverse, she weaves it all together with a compelling common thread: Jeanette’s fervent belief in the human potential – which makes her a powerful agent for change.

and her work in each of these arenas.

JG-Tiny Film Producer

Providing enthusiastic and insightful leadership, Jeanette has a proven track record managing and motivating production teams to deliver excellence: on-time, on-budget.

With over fifteen years of experience in “the business,” Jeanette has worked for a wide range of production companies, as well as advertising agencies. She is a producer with experience in both areas, so her objectives on a film set can encompass the vision of all.

In addition to her work in commercial production, Jeanette has also produced several short films and videos. These include the Emmy award-winning, PBS segment of “The Hallelujah Chorus,” conducted by Quincy Jones, and the short film, “Beyond the Ladies Room Door,” featured in the shorts program at the Hamptons International Film Festival.

In 1998, Jeanette focused her producing efforts into TV commercials, and joined forces with Dutch filmmaker, Rogier van der Ploeg, the Grand Prix Award-Winner at the Cannes Film Festival. Together they established the successful production boutique, Czar Films USA, based in New York City. In order to be close to the action on the set, plus run the company, Jeanette worked as both Line and Executive Producer. This protocol, coupled with a strong collaboration with Rogier, offered a distinctive blend of service to the creative team on each of their projects.

With Rogier’s eventual return home to his native Amsterdam, Jeanette returned to her original craft as a Line Producer. Her reputation has cemented relationships with some of the top production companies in the world, and she continues to provide the exceptional work the industry has come to expect of her.

Jeanette was the Executive Producer (and Line Producer) for all the TV commercials featured in the USA category. She also produced the majority of the other spots for the US market that are shown in various categories on the 100 Commercials site.

JG-Tiny Life Coach

Jeanette’s work in filmmaking offers a unique opportunity to provide coaching to this community. While Jeanette helps clients from various professions, she also offers a particular focus on coaching actors, filmmakers, and creatives who want to bring more balance into their lives, re-design their time. Whether it’s about time management, taking charge of finances, refining goals, or exploring ways to sustain healthy relationships, Jeanette has a working knowledge of this industry’s challenges. She combines her abilities and energy as a producer, with her coach presence, and empathically applies it all to the coaching engagement.

Jeanette’s coaching is highly informed by the field of contemporary neuroscience, and part of her training includes a “brain-based” approach to coaching. One of her more popular workshops is designed around the concept of setting meaningful goals by using recent discoveries on how the brain makes connections. She is a sought-after speaker and teaching artist at several schools, including the Junior School at the Neighborhood Playhouse Theater in NYC. She also volunteers her time as a teaching assistant for the Professional Coaching Program at New York University.

Harnessing the skills and various tools of the coaching technology, Jeanette works intuitively with her clients to create a safe space for harvesting visions and desires. She uses a future-focused, solutions-based process, and partners with her clients to achieve noteworthy results. Her coaching has produced greater motivation, clarity, focus, and the attainment of especially significant goals for her clients.

Jeanette is passionate about her work, and is certified by New York University as a Personal and Life Coach. She is also credentialed through the International Coach Federation as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC).

JG-Tiny TESTIMONIALS

“Through her direct expertise and easy manner, Jeanette has coached me to success. Of course, my notion of success has morphed through the process of being coached–I now have different goals and aspirations as well as new ways of relating to my goals.

As a professor at two major universities and a PhD. candidate, I have to balance time as well as keep my wits about me as I move through work, my personal life and achieving my requisite agendas. Jeanette has been instrumental in me envisioning and actualizing my dreams. The best part about it is I truly was unfocused and unaware as to what I wanted until Jeanette helped me retool my ideas of success. I recommend her life coaching skills with the highest regards.”

Arin Mason
PhD. Candidate Professor,
American University &
George Mason University

“I am a total Type A Personality, so I brought a full plate to my coaching engagement with Jeanette – career woes, family struggles, and questions of spirit being a heavy few. In the short 8 weeks we worked together, this is what I accomplished: I firmly committed to the pursuit of my big time love – acting – with all my heart. (Coincidentally I booked a day player on a feature film, started freelancing with 3 commercial agents, and a legit agent and booked 2 print jobs.)

I’ve also had a major shift in my perceptions - of my place in my family and the world. And well, spiritually, I hope to always question…but it’s a joy to explore with such an open, compassionate, and gracious listener.

Jeanette is a natural coach. From the moment we started working together I felt completely at ease and safe to be as honest as I would let myself be. And, if you are willing, she will ask questions that will bring forth your highest and most honest truth. No judgments, just inspiration – and with her wicked intelligence, wit and guidance – be prepared to get off your bum and get &*#$ done. I really wish I could employ her until I was 85…then I could really change the world.”

Toni Pizzola
SAG Actress

“Jeanette’s coaching culminated in some great insights on a situation that I had been grappling with for some time now. Her ability to do real-time-analysis helped me to stay focused. Her style is engaging, and as her client, she completely put me at ease. Jeanette is a natural coach.”

Arnold Kaplan
Executive Producer
Taxi Films, Inc.

“Having Jeanette as my life coach has been such a great experience for me! I really didn’t know what to expect, and what I got was a warm and understanding person, who helped me to see things as they are. She showed me that I already had the answers I was looking for. I just needed help sorting through all of the stuff in my head to see them clearly. I would recommend Jeanette to anyone who is at a crossroads in his or her life, and who needs an objective person to talk things through with. I was Jeanette’s client during a time when I had many hard decisions to make, and her coaching was invaluable to me.”
Aura Vence
SAG Actress

“An artist’s life is a tough one. Many times, it’s hard to find what the first step is, and I’ve often felt overwhelmed by all of life’s tasks. Jeanette helped me to help myself, by guiding me to the core of what needed to be done. Her coaching was exciting, and yet gave me a wonderful sense of calm. Jeanette’s coaching helped me find the winning steps to accomplishing my goals.”
Cate Bottiglione
SAG Actress
Acting Teacher

“With Jeanette’s blend of enthusiasm and compassionate support, I was able to break through a few tough barriers weighing down on my life. Her coaching style is like being with a caring friend, who helps you think differently, and unconditionally supports your decision.”
Tom Volk
Director of Coaching
Bumble & Bumble

“Jeanette and I worked together over a short time period and the results will benefit me for a lifetime! The time had come when I wanted to be proactive in getting what I wanted in my life and to realize some dreams. My wife had worked with Jeanette and I knew a little about the process and how she could help me, so I jumped on board with Jeanette.

From the beginning I knew that I needed to create a schedule for myself that would allow me the time to work on the several things I wanted to include in my life. The problem was that I didn’t know how to create a schedule that I would actually follow. Jeanette not only helped me to create a schedule, or “road map,” as she called it, for my life, but she held me accountable in the following of it – and we designed a map to follow with many possible turns. So now I work with a “road map” in front of me at my desk at all times, and look at it often so that I am reminded of the roads I have planned on traveling. My true success with the “road map” comes from my ability to take detours as needed, without fear of failure, and then successfully return to the road when ready. This was a big win for me!

It was through Jeanette’s wise guidance that I was able to find this ability in myself. She has many talents, but in my opinion, one of Jeanette’s strengths is her ability to delicately allow me to find my own answers to questions. Many times she would point out that within my question, I had spoken my answer. This always blew me away and taught me to trust myself much more! I left our brief time together with the tools I needed to continue our work on my own… and that, I think, is the signature of a great coach. Thank you, Jeanette!”
